Allotment in January

Yesterday the sun was shining for a change. Took the opportunity to add some goodness to my beds, i.e. mulch. No one else there apart from Bill, one of the stalwarts. He was very generous with good advice, and pointed me in the right direction of where to find the 'good stuff''. Many wheelbarrow loads later, and a few breaks for coffee, all my beds had got a fair share of mushy mulch worked in, and I could see that a good number of worms came along as well.

Such a pleasant feeling, sitting in the sunshine with a thermos mug of coffee, looking at the beds and imagining what could be growing in them in a few months time. I have now ordered my seeds, which is a start!
