The Shrunken Garden

My garden has shrunk - at the end of May it became 1 x 6 meters smaller. This is due to the finalisation of long and hard negotioations with C who has been desperate to get some more space for his shed activities, i.e. motorbikes. When I was faced with the choice of extending the shed, or a conservatory on our patio (which obviously wouldn't be a restful abode for me and my plants, but would contain, yes, motorbikes), I gave in to the shed extension.

It's not as bad as I thought. I've almost got used to it already. And I've now got a sheltered sunny afternoon corner by my shed door (the blue door in the shade on the picture). And C is happy as a sandboy, with all his extra space, for wonderful things like a lathe, a drill etc ... and for motorbikes!
